However, a new study is suggesting that there may actually be a way to battle the bulge through the winter.

The study followed 10 males ages 23 to 33 as they completed two separate exams, one where they had a day of rest and the other when they completed an exercise day, during which they completed 35 minutes of cycling.
The study’s authors noted that in comparison to the day of rest, the subjects’ metabolism remained stronger even 14 hours after they completed the exercise.
