Working the muscle to the body you want

With most of us hitting the gym following our New Year’s resolutions, it’s important to know the body well and how to tone it. Having a toned physique is a dream for many, particularly those who have upcoming trips that involve a bathing suit. However, many people may not realize exactly how to get their goal body.
A new study published in the journal Cell Metabolism reveal a key factor into how the muscle works and what we have to do to make sure we’re using them to their full potential. The researchers discovered the serum response factor (Srf), which is produced when muscles are working out. The factor then sends signals to surrounding muscle stem cells to multiple and join in, helping them grow.
“This signal from the muscle fiber controls stem cell behavior and participation in muscle growth,” said Athanassia Sotiropoulos of Inserm in France. “It is unexpected and quite interesting.”
Of course, there are other things you can do to help tone your body. Purchasing reversible soft yoga exercise mats and enrolling in classes can help you work on muscle definition. The beauty of yoga is that it builds muscle tone without the sweat and intense cardio regimen that some people choose. While it’s preference in workout, yoga is favored by people of all ages because the moves aren’t too overwhelming.

Many Americans hit the gym as a New Year’s resolution

Now that the New Year has come and gone, millions of people are trying to stick to their resolutions. At least for the first few weeks, more individuals are heading to the Sure Flexx Sport Tiles of the gym, hoping to stick to their fitness goals they made for 2012.
It’s not uncommon for people to make a gym membership part of their New Year’s resolution, and those who were already attending the fitness center notice an influx in patrons during the first month of the year. Of course, it begins to thin out overtime as people get busy with other priorities.
根据Coloradoan,一些gyms see hundreds of new members during the month of January, as people are looking to get fit, whether it be for personal or medical reasons. Additionally, there are a number of members who are looking to increase the amount of time they can spend in the gym.
“We really see a huge increase in the people who are currently paying us using the club more,” Todd Heenan, managing partner of the Fort Collins Club in Colorado, told the news provider.
Of course, it’s a good idea for people who are interested in joining a fitness facility to do their homework and see what place works best for them. Fox News suggests not only looking at the kind of equipment a gym has, but also if they offer classes or other incentives that will keep the workout from getting stale.

Be sure to have a variety of bright colors, such as vegetables or dips, to really play into the festive mood. Additionally, choosing toothpicks with tinsel and fun platters can be another way to add some kick to the display.
